Robert M. Jelenic, 58, former chairman and chief executive officer of Journal Register Co., publisher of The Bristol Press, died Wednesday night in Pennsylvania after a long bout with cancer.
Jelenic was the architect and driving force behind JRC before stepping down in November of 2007 after 20 years with the Yardley, Pennsylvania -based corporation.
