Doubtful that Colapietro will face a Petit

With a little more information in hand -- despite all the talk at the Capitol -- I'm skeptical that Johanna Petit Chapman is going to take on Senator Tom Colapietro this year.
It may still happen, but it doesn't appear likely.
So if there's anyone else out there with an itch to run for state Senate, the coast may be clear.

  1. I heard she wants to run against Betty Boukus instead because she is easier to beat, since Tom has the unions in his pocket.

  2. This would be better. Say good-bye to liberal, union-lackey, education-panderer Betty.

  3. Again the Republicans are less than focused and organized.

  9. "Again the Republicans are less than focused and organized"

Oh and the Democrats are against any solid Republican (like Hamzy)? Or how about John Distephano, was he well-organized? How's Ned Lamont doing these days?

Don't lump the Plainville GOP in the same group as the Bristol GOP. It's a whole different animal.

PS: Watch whate you say about this lady. Or you'll be sorry

  13. Republicans for Stortz? Why didn't you endorse him then ? You guys are just full of them aren't you? (I mean that and jokes too)

  14. It was Mocabee, Schaffrick et al that did not want Stortz.
City wide he had a lot of support.

  15. So I guess it was those three that ran the republican party and the rest had nothing to say about Stortz? What good is the party then unless they advocate a dictatorship.

I'd say that that was just about it.

The rest of us had nothing to say about much of anything. All they wanted was our money.

  17. So far the Republicans have nobody in the 77th, 79th, and 31st.

Could be a clean swwep for the democrats!

    Go Republicans.

  18. Any update on candidates?

  19. Prediction:

Republicans will put up a name(s) like they did last time for council and that person will back out and not be replaced.

It would be nice if they at least got approval to do so.

The Republicans did even worse, they are putting up Geladino.

  21. Couldn't get Yarde, settled for next best, Geladino.

Soon to be a household word.

    Go get em Mr. Barnes.
